Thanks for stopping by and seeing what this is all about.
About a year ago, I conned my hubby, Josh, into letting me get chickens.
Our family consumes way more eggs than normal. So when the price of eggs went sky-high after lockdown, I convinced him what a great investment it would be.
We’d get fresh eggs daily and when the apocalypse happens, we’d have meat! Win-win!
That’s how it began…
I got my chickens, built a backyard chicktopia, and became obsessed with my flock. (Chicken drama is real, y’all! And I am here for it!)
And now here we are. Swimming in eggs. Trying to justify my pets-with-benefits. And trying to startup a side-hustle so that when it’s time for us to expand, I can point to how successful our first go ‘round was!
(Stay tuned. My next goal is a pig farm and moo-moo cows.)
